Bible Question;
Can sin take a born again Christian to hell?

Douglas
Answer:
First let see what sin means: SIN means- Missing the mark, like an archer missing the center of a target with his bow and arrow. We as Christians have a target and that is to aim for Holiness which means to be separated from the world and dedicated to God with our hearts and our minds. If we are not aiming towards holiness then we SIN before God.
Rom 6:23 for the wages of SIN is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

SIN kills you physically and spiritually-
SIN separates you from God –
SIN Hurts the Holy Spirit –

We come to God with our Sin in our life and ask him to forgive us and wash us completely of our SIN, We then have a responsibility to repent, not just ask God to forgive us put we need to repent. To repent means we turn 180 degrees away from SIN and towards God’s Holiness.
A Christian is not sinless, but a Christian should SIN less and less every day.
Phil 1:6 And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again.

To answer your question a born again Christian can go to Hell if he does not repent of his Sinful life!
Remember that only God knows who is going to Hell or heaven we cannot judge people!

Bible Question;
What happens if you don’t follow the Ten Commandments?

Douglas
Answer:
Exodus 20:1-17

Against God:
1: ‘You shall have no other gods before Me.’
2: ‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.’
3: ‘You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.’
4: ‘Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.’

Against Man:
5: ‘Honor your father and your mother.’
6: ‘You shall not murder.’
7: ‘You shall not commit adultery.’
8: ‘You shall not steal.’
9: ‘You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.’
10: ‘You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.’

Matt 22:37-40
37 Jesus replied, “‘you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

John 14:15 “If you love me, obey my commandments.
To answer your question the Holy Spirit leads us to follow the commandments of God. We are to follow the Holy Spirit!

Gal 5:16 seas that we are to be lead by the Holy Spirit.

Yes you need to follow the commandments of God, so what happens if you don’t follow the 10 commandments? You will suffer the consequence of your sin! If you steel you can go to jail, if you kill someone they might kill you, or if you don’t love God then you love the world! And that’s a SIN…… Sin leads to destruction.

Bible question;
Hi I Wanted To Know If Jesus not God, but Jesus knows when he is coming back, I know it say in mark 13:32 No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. But It Also Say That He Is The God That 3 In 1, Has The Father The Spirit And The Son…...Some Pastors Told Me That Jesus Knows, But I Want to know How When It Says He Doesn’t Know In The Word Of God . Please Tell Me?

Douglas
Answer:
John 12:49-50 I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me gave me his own instructions as to what I should say. 50 And I know his instructions lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say!”
John 8:26 I have much to say about you and much to condemn, but I won’t. For I say only what I have heard from the one who sent me, and he is true.”
Mark 13:32 “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.
_
No one (Knows) the word (knows) is a verb!
A verb is a part of speech that describes any action whatsoever. There are three kinds of verbs: action, helping, and linking verbs. Action verbs are very basic – they are any activity you or I can do, like eat, sleep, read. Quite often they have suffixes attached to the end to express the verb tense (past, present, or future), such as ”-ed” or ”-ing” (eating, sleeping, jogging).
Here the word (knows) is past tense, which means he was not told to say the day or time of his second coming!
_

But of that day and that hour [that is, the precise time], knoweth no man, [oudeis, literally ‘no one,’] no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. This very remarkable statement regarding “the Son” Whether it means that the Son was not at that time in possession of the knowledge referred to, or simply that it was not among the things which He had received to communicate-has been matter of much controversy.
Beyond all doubt, as the word “knoweth” [oiden] in this verse is the well-known word for the knowledge of any fact, our Lord did not at that time communicate how the day and hour of His own Second Coming will be.
Jesus was one, who, from the time when He entered on His public ministry, spoke, acted, as one from whom nothing was hidden;
Jesus was giving the instructions of explaining the Kingdom of God from beginning to end; there is nothing really special about knowing the time of his second coming. It wasn’t necessary to tell the disciples about the exact day or hour of Jesus second coming, and it wouldn’t affect Jesus not saying the time of his second coming.

To answer your question it could be that the Jesus was not at that time in possession of the knowledge of his second coming because he was in human form, or simply that it was not among the things which He had received from the father to communicate to the disciples.
I believe in the trinity (father, Son, Holy Spirit) that Jesus is 100% God knowing everything (omniscience), and at the time of his ministry were 100% human, knowing everything God father knows, and knowing all our weaknesses in human body. Here in this scripture Mark 13:32 I believe Jesus is saying (I was not told by my father to tell you the day or hour of my second coming).
Phil 2:6-7 6
Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, 7 But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being.

Bible Question;
I was reading genesis 4.22 and I was very confused because God says that Adam didn’t eat out of the tree of life, God forgive me if I’m saying it wrong but was there 2 threes in the garden of Eden was there the tree of good and evil and the tree of life or was there one tree? can someone help me understand please god bless you

Douglas
Answer:
I think you mean Gen 3:22!
Gen 2:9 And the LORD God planted all sorts of trees in the garden — beautiful trees that produced delicious fruit. At the center of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
There was the tree of Life and the tree of Good and Evil! There was 2 trees in the garden
_
Gen 2:15-17 15 The LORD God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and care for it. 16 But the LORD God gave him this warning: “You may freely eat any fruit in the garden 17 except fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat of its fruit, you will surely die.”
God told him to eat from all trees in the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil!
_
Gen 3:6 the woman was convinced. The fruit looked so fresh and delicious, and it would make her so wise! So she ate some of the fruit. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her. Then he ate it, too.
Adam ate of the fruit too!

Bible Question;
How old was Daniel when he was casted into the lion’s den in Chapter 6?

Douglas
Answer:
The Book of Daniel says that Daniel was captured in the 3rd year of the reign of Jehoiakim. On this evidence, Daniel must have been in captivity 70 years by the time the Persians defeated the Babylonians. Daniel would probably have been in his late seventies or early eighties by the time the Book says that he was thrown in the lion’s den.
However, the Book of Daniel says that the Persian king, who defeated the Babylonians and later attempted to sacrifice Daniel to the lions, was Darius. But historians say that Cyrus was the Persian king who defeated the Babylonians, and that Darius was a successor. If the author really intended to place this event during the actual reign of Darius, then Daniel would have been at least ninety and possibly more than 100 years old at the time.
